We help veterans, service members, and their families navigate the benefits and services available to them through the government. At the state level, we work to ensure veterans receive the best possible service from state agencies. We also support many programs that assist aging, unemployed, and homeless veterans. We are committed to improving the lives of all veterans. No one understands the challenges combat veterans face better than fellow combat veterans, creating a bond that transcends the wars they fought in. We serve as a vital support system for veterans in need, helping them adjust to civilian life.
In addition to supporting veterans, we are also dedicated to those currently serving and provide free introductory memberships to veterans of the War on Terror or those who served in UN Peacekeeping operations. The VFW is not just for older veterans but for veterans of all ages, and we aim to include their families in our activities and support them.
Through our website, Facebook and Instagram page, we engage keeping everyone informed about important upcoming events. Many younger veterans join the VFW, even if they don’t plan to attend a post, knowing that our advocacy for their rights and benefits will support them today and in the future.

Their involvement will play a significant role in shaping the VFW's future. We have a rich history of accomplishments dedicated to supporting veterans, military personnel, and their families. The VFW reaches out to all veterans. Our mission of "honoring the dead by helping the living" remains as important as ever, providing vital support to veterans, active military members, and their communities. We exist to serve through VFW programs and activities, not simply as a social hub. All posts including ours, are encouraged to embrace this mission of service and outreach.
Our VFW is deeply engaged in legislative efforts. Much of the state and federal benefits veterans, troops, and their families receive can be credited to the VFW’s determined advocacy to hold politicians accountable to their promises. We fight for the VA health system to deliver the healthcare veterans were promised and work tirelessly to block legislation that would increase costs for veterans. We continue to push for improvements in the VA system to reduce backlogs and provide the best care possible for veterans. We hold politicians responsible when they fail to keep their campaign promises.
