VETERAN STAND DOWN

We are proud to regularly host a Veteran Stand Down, a one-day event dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk veterans in our community. This important event brings together VA staff, volunteers, and community partners to provide a wide range of essential services to those who have served our country. During the Stand Down, veterans have access to food, clothing, and vital health screenings, ensuring that their basic needs are met.

In addition to immediate assistance, veterans are provided with referrals for long-term solutions in areas such as healthcare, housing, employment opportunities, and substance use treatment. Mental health counseling services are also available to help veterans cope with the emotional and psychological challenges they may be facing. Other resources, including legal aid, benefits counseling, and connection to support networks, are also provided to ensure veterans receive the comprehensive care they need.

The Veteran Stand Down is more than just a day of service— it is an opportunity to connect veterans with the resources and support systems that can help them regain stability, improve their quality of life, and move forward with renewed hope. We are committed to serving those who have sacrificed so much, and this event is a crucial step in ensuring they have the care and resources they deserve.
