Edward Comacho
Trustee 1 - Army
Edward Perez Comacho answered the call to serve his country when he was drafted into the Vietnam War. As a Combat Engineer, he specialized in the dangerous tasks of minesweeping, bombs, and demolition, a role that required exceptional bravery and precision. His service in Vietnam was marked by resilience, as he navigated some of the most perilous duties on the battlefield.
After serving for two to three
years, Edward returned home and continued his commitment to his fellow Veterans and country by becoming an active member of the Veteran community. For over a decade, he has served as a dedicated member of our Honor Guard, where his presence at military funerals and special events honors the memory of fallen comrades.
In addition to his role in the Honor Guard, Edward is a life member of both the AMVETS and our Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW Post 4372).
Edward’s personal life is just as full of devotion. He and his beloved wife have shared over 50 years together, building a family that includes three children— two daughters and one son— and five grandchildren. Their family is large, with many friends and extended relatives who admire and love him deeply.
Known for his unwavering loyalty, Edward’s legacy is one of service, both on the battlefield and within his community. His life reflects the courage and dedication of a man who has given much to his country, his family, and his fellow Veterans.
