Katie Gonzalez
Office Manager -

Katie Gonzales is our Office Manager, she has a heartwarming connection to our Bingo Hall that spans many years. Her journey with us began in her teenage years when she worked here, and after gaining experience elsewhere, she returned to become the Office Manager three years ago. Her history here runs deep, thanks to her family’s long-standing ties.

Katie's mother, Vicki Lee, was an Auxiliary Life member and worked in our office for over 30 years. This means that Katie has been a part of this community since she was a baby, and it’s clear that the values of hard work, dedication, and family have been passed down through the generations.

In addition to her mother, Katie’s stepfather, Terry Evans married Vicki and is the son of Pete Evans, who is the grandfather of our Officer Administrator, Aaron Evans. This extended family connection only strengthens Katie's bond to our VFW and adds another layer of history to her journey here.

Katie is incredibly family-oriented and cherishes spending time with her husband and children. She is a true homebody at heart, finding joy in the small moments with her loved ones. But it doesn’t end there! Our office wouldn’t be the same without our beloved office mascot, Koda.

Koda’s story is just as heartwarming. Our mailman, Tyce, brought Koda to the office, and Katie decided to take her in. Since then, Koda has become a member of our morning routine, greeting everyone with joy and energy. Together, Katie and Koda bring so much warmth and positivity to the office each day, making our work environment all the more special.

Katie’s journey with us is a testament to the importance of family, love, and tradition. She continues to bring her unique blend of compassion, dedication, and care to everything she does. We are truly grateful to have her as part of our team.
